Hot Summer Nights

Bring the kids for cool times on hot summer nights in Myrtle Beach. Concerts, Fireworks, Carnivals and more. There is something different every day of the week.

Mondays: Free Kids’ Carnival, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Tuesdays and Saturdays: Free Concerts in Plyler Park, 8 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Wednesdays: Fireworks over the Ocean, 9:30 p.m.

Thursdays: Strolling Bagpipes on the Boardwalk, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Fridays: Strolling Dixieland Band, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Sundays: Street Performers Entertain, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

When: Beginning June 7th, 2010, runs for 10 weeks.

The Palace Theatre, Myrtle Beach, SC

The Palace Theatre presents award winning entertainment at the "Broadway at the Beach" Entertainment Complex in Myrtle Beach, SC. This impressive 63,900 square foot theatre sits on 20 acres. Inside, the 7,000 square foot lobby features a golden-dome, three crystal chandeliers, and a winged staircase.

While many of the theaters in Myrtle Beach feature variety style shows, The Palace Theatre takes a different approach. Le Grand Cirque - Adrenaline is a circus like entertainment show featuring acrobatics, music, speacial effects and more. Their 2010 Summer Series include Off-Broadway musical "The Great American Trailer Park Musical" and perfomances based off the books Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. The Magical Spirit of Ireland is a "River Dance" like show highlighting the Irish Style of dance. Some online reviews of this presentation aclaim the dancing but were unimpressed with the pre-recorded music and song. Broadway at The Palace Theatre is a series of Off-Broadway shows throughout the year. Man in the Mirror is The Palace Theatre's tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Finally, the hoiday show at the Palace is Christmas on Ice featuring Winter Olympic Skaters. With such a large array of entertainment, you are bound to find something you will love.

2010 Fireworks Over the Ocean in Myrtle Beach, SC

In 2010, the Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Merchants Association will be launching fireworks over the ocean off the 2nd Avenue Pier every Wednesday night. To get the best view visit Plyler Park or the boardwalk.
