Free Myrtle Beach - Tigers

T.I.G.E.R.S Preservation Station at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is a free wildlife exhibit and living tiger museum. Get up close and personal with variety of animals including Bengal tigers, Siberian tigers, Royal White Bengal tigers and of course, the Golden Tabby tiger.

Free Myrtle Beach - Pier at Garden City

The Pier at Garden City offers nightly entertainment all summer long.  At the End of the Pier, under the rain shelter, a variety of bands are hosted. The Pier also offers plenty of space for dancing.

Music is from 8:30 - 11pm

In October, The Cafe Deck Bar is Open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.  It offers Karaoke 2pm-6pm Fri., Sat., & Sun. and Live Music 8:00-11:00 Fri. & Sat.

Free Myrtle Beach - Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach, is an outdoor shopping and entertainment complex nestled in the middle of Myrtle Beach, SC.  This 350-acre venue surrounds a man-made lake stocked with fish that love to be fed.  While some of the attractions within Broadway at the Beach cost money, entrance to the complex itself is free.  Throughout the summer they offer various free events including music and fireworks.

Free Myrtle Beach - Beaches

Myrlte Beach boasts over 60 miles of soft, white sand beaches.  Many of the beautiful beaches of Myrtle Beach, SC are free.  You might have to look for a while, depending on the season and time of day, but there is also free parking.

Pirates Adventures

Pirate Adventures of Myrtle Beach, SC is an interactive pirate excursion for the whole family. Located at the Crazy Sister Marina in Murrell's Inlet, it is at the southern end of Myrtle Beach.  The adventure begins on land where the kids will be transformed into a pirates with dress-up, face painting and temporary tattoos.  They'll also learn some pirate lingo. 

The Pirate Adventure continues onto the Sea Gypsy pirate ship for an hour and fifteen minute long excursion.  On board, the pirates will work as a team to defeat the enemy pirate with water cannons and discover a secret message in a bottle. Safe seas restored, what is a pirate without a treasure?  Read the map and set off in search of a sunken treasure.  Find it and each little pirate will make off with a handful of loot.

Pirate Adventure Tips:
  • Face painting and dress up will begin 30 minutes prior to sailing time, so make sure you arrive early.
  • Parents are welcome on board and at least 1 one adult is required to accompany children.
  • Reservations are not required but are stronly recommended.
  • The ship will not set sail if they do not reach a minimum passenger count.
  • Trips may be postponed due to inclement weather.
  • There isn't any bathroom on the ship, so make sure the kids do their business before setting sail.
