Broadway at the Beach is Myrtle Beach's answer to "the boardwalk," except it's not actually on the beach.  Located 1.5 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean, Broadway at the Beach is an outdoor mall/attraction surrounding a lake full of the friendliest fish you'll ever meet.  About 2/3rds of the walkways are in fact wooden giving it that boardwalk feel.
