"Hot Summer Nights" and other 2011 Events in Downtown Myrtle Beach

"Hot Summer Nights" is the Oceanfront Merchants Association's theme.  Free entertainment in downtown Myrtle Beach can be found every night on N. Oceanfront Blvd between 9th Ave and Mister Joe White Blvd.  This year's entertainment includes:

• Sundays from 7-10pm is an amazing drum display called Whacker Barrel
• Monday Nights is the Kids's Carnival featuring a giant inflatable slide, bounce house, face painters, stilt walkers and more.
• The sound of music fills the air with live bands performing every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights.
• Fireworks light up the night sky on Wednesdays.
• Catch sight of the strolling Dixieland Band on Friday nights.
