Sky Wheel, Myrtle Beach, SC

The Sky Wheel, opening in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2011 is a first of it's kind in the country.  This 20 story high ferris wheel soars above the center of the new boardwalk and offers amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and Myrtle Beach.  Forget your fear of heights and the sweltering heat when you step inside one of the 42 climate controlled gondolas featuring leather seats and glass floors.  Each flight lasts from 8 - 12 minutes.  Head over at night to see the nightly light show produced by over 1 million LED lights.   Tickets are available online and on location.
